| 1351091 | 2013-08-12 06:22:00 | Hi all, I recently acquired a new system (the one in my signature), which is housed in a CM Storm Scout 2. The scout has an LED controller on the top, of which to the fans are controlled by a couple of 2 pin connectors. I was looking at this (below) and was wondering if I could control it with the button on the case. This is A LOT simpler then crawling under the desk to flick the switch! www.playtech.co.nz Any other recommendations would be great. Nerdtastic |

I wouldn't expect the LED power connector to drive that lighting kit, it may even be a 5v supply. If you can handle some simple electronics though a small relay powered from the LED power wire could be used to switch the lighting kit on and off. It'd be an interesting little project. If the LEDs do power from 12V it might work but I'd still be cautious about whether the wiring can supply enough power |
