| 1350927 | 2013-08-08 08:01:00 | Greetings ~ administration problems Help me please I am going nuts here.I have being trying Windows 8 and have ditched it for a much better Op IMHO Windows 7. I have installed it OK, but now that I want to tidy up and delete Windows .Old and other files I find that "You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete this folder" As I am the only account and person who uses this computer I am it.It is a 64 bit version.I have tried 'takeownership' to no avail. It must be possible to put this OP in its place before it goes out the window and have a very unfortunate 'accident'. Happy Days! |

| 1350928 | 2013-08-08 08:32:00 | if you right click the C: drive under my computer and choose properties the clean up tool from there should give you the option to remove old windows files assuming you installed 7 over 8. That's the easiest way to delete windows.old and it's contents. | dugimodo (138) | ||
