1327624 2013-02-12 02:46:00 For me, most sites seemed to have come back up but Telstra's own site remains a problem

(Want to bet it's their LDAP server again? They should be using the heavyweight version ;) )

1327626 2013-02-12 03:00:00 I just took a call from a client on Telstra Cable who cant get email or browse the net yet all lights are on on the modem (and all was working this morning), so thanks for posting BB, I'll get him to check it again after dinner. Cheers. Iantech (16386)
1327627 2013-02-12 04:01:00 It was a DNS issue according to what they posted on FB.

Hi all, our DNS servers are currently not responding causing the inability to browse. We are aware of the issue and our techs are working to get this resolved for you all as soon as possible, there is no need for you to notify us if you are without service at this stage. Thank you all for your patience and our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Didnt think the prob was here. As the router said I was connected. But I couldnt go anywhere. And when I check for probs, Win7 said there were DNS probs

1327628 2013-02-12 05:15:00 It was a problem for me at work, even when trying to use alternative DNS servers, they seemed to be interfering somehow? :-/ Chilling_Silence (9)

1327630 2013-02-12 08:27:00 I'm on Telstra cable here (all underground along the street and into the house). Been using it all day 1 on desktop PC, 1 laptop and two smartphones on wi-fi. Not had any problems at all.
