| 1327615 | 2013-02-11 23:51:00 | Hi there At my local sports field, in Long Bay , Im absolutely disgusted by the mess that organised sports groups leave behind **on the fields** after they have gone. Rubbish on the feild, in the car park, on the road outside the feild. Do they really not give a stuff?? Are sports people that damn lazy , inconsiderate & messy. Surely the organizers would take some time to ensure the fields and car park after cleaned up after their sports events & practice days. Leave the fields in the same state as before the event. The worst ever was an Adult (ex Brit) soccer team. A mass of random Bandages & strapping tape just left on the cricket pitch after their mid week game a while back. Theres a rubbish bin at gate !!! I know that in general , NZ is getting more & more litter just chucked on the ground,in bushes, in the drains & household rubbish (in kleensacks) being dumped on the side of the road (& in parks). If Adults cant make the effect & show kids/teenagers that this isnt acceptable, then what hope is there ?? Even Tourists have commented on how much litter there is in NZ Clean & Green ?? somehow its now acceptable to just chuck your rubbish on the ground. |

It is bad here in Upper Hutt, much of the rubbish like McDonalds cartons, cardboard cups, and bottles, are thrown out of car windows by yobs. Then yobs drive to a reserve like Tunnel Gully with boxes of beer and Bourbon and Coke and just leave the empties lying around. Disposable nappies are pushed under bushes, and so on. A few of us pick up and dispose of other peoples rubbish in an attempt to keep the reserve clean. Over at the dairy's waste bin, it is often full of bags of disposable nappies. It is going to get worse most likely as the "free" recycling collection has now been replaced by a separately charged scheme by local waste contractors. |

| 1327619 | 2013-02-12 01:34:00 | I'd agree, it's getting worse too. I can't stand it. The amount of rubbish we have to scrape off our own front doorstep is ridiculous. Every week or I mow the verges by our front paddock, and I can usually fill a grocery bag with the sh*t that people throw out their windows. Disgusting. | The Error Guy (14052) | ||

McD's is also common, but tends to blow away without the box to anchor it down. Then there's the liquor containers / boxes of empties, or just broken bottles. A charitable trust I work for had a 'guest' decide she'd leave a duke (#2) on the floor before leaving. Her Iwi were paid close to $1M some years ago for a road crossing their lands, but it sure hasn't done anything to improve their behaviour. They still haven't paid their very modest bill either, and somehow, given their behaviour, I'm not expecting to get it paid. If youth didn't have cars there'd be a lot less of this BS going on. Booze comes second in helping the rif raff spread their bad behaviour far and wide. Without the luxury of a car they'd be forced to live with their own mess, or to take it out to their own gate. |

I think I must be misreading this, because the way I read that sounds like you're saying the entire Iwi is to blame for her behaviour? What does a road have to do with her doing a poop on the floor? |
