1327767 2013-02-15 03:10:00 Well done Sol, yeah they are quite a lot cheaper than the v8

Noddy, $400 annual insurance, better than i was thinking it was going to be

EDIT: i would never buy a yellow Monaro

Cost me 14k back in 2005...probably uses as much gas as the 5.0 V8 if you have a heavy foot.

1327772 2013-02-15 07:29:00 I have the Supercharged V6 Calais...has the power, but not the sound damn it.....I would love to trade for a V8, but then again, I love Forced Induction motors....

I thought about supercharging mine, but bought a BMW instead lol Not sure I made the right decision cos those Supercharged Ecotecs get off their ass

1327773 2013-02-15 08:02:00 True Huey, my brother laws SS is just as economical as his wife (my sis) V6, but also dependent on how you drive of course Gobe1 (6290)

1327775 2013-02-15 08:30:00 Familiar with it. Also spend a fair amount of time on justcommodores. Impressive how much power they can get out of a relatively basic engine. Have you done the pulley replacement mod to yours? hueybot3000 (3646)
1327776 2013-02-15 10:18:00 I own a Silver 2001 Toyota Will VS (not the ugly back window one, the sports model) and once it's paid off I'll do some work to it so I can keep up with you boys and your holdens - although for an 1800 NA it's pretty quick ;)

Do those have the 2ZZ-GE? I've got a 2003 Runx 6 speed with the 2ZZ-GE at the moment and it goes like a stabbed rat, pardon the pun. Scared a guy in a WRX the other day. :D
