Some babies are genetically predisposed to this condition or experience other growth trauma's during the pregnancy (such as a very pre-term birth) that can cause it. I doubt adding a warning about drinking too much Coke is going to do much. If a person has an addiction to something, or other behavioral problems, then a warning isn't going to stop them. Product warnings should only apply where despite normal common sense, there is a risk of over-indulgence causing harm. For example, drinking too many energy drinks when they are consumed in the same quantity as someone would consume water. Agreed, Most people continue to smoke even though the ciagarette label says smoking causes lung cancer. |
