1350764 2013-08-07 04:44:00 Ok something has deleted or killed 2 services. This LEGACY_MpsSvc and this LEGACY_bfe. The firewall maybe dead as well

Go here download the vista zipped file (www.smartestcomputing.us.com). Extract it

Then dbl click on the legacy_bfe reg file so it'll import it into the registry. Do the same with the legacy_mpssvc.reg file, the bfe.reg and the mpssvc.reg file

Then run farbar service scanner again. We'll see what that says

I would also open the hosts file. See if there are any entries in here to do with blocking google or yahoo. Copy and paste what appears in the hosts file in here

1350765 2013-08-07 05:01:00 all three are coming up with same error: "Can not import .....(file name)... Error accessing registry"

Click Apply and OK.
When done with registry key(s) import.....
Please go back to the the Root key again while Everyone is selected remove check mark in the box under Allow next to Full Control and close the registry.

Then try and import those legacy reg entries. All of them (4) should import into the registry

1350768 2013-08-07 05:53:00 Ok that looks good. So does that service start now? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1350769 2013-08-07 05:57:00 No NZHawk (4093)
1350770 2013-08-07 06:14:00 Open a command prompt as admin then type

ipconfig /release then

ipconfig /renew then reboot

What firewall (besides windows) is installed?

See if that fixit works now

This is a home PC right? Not a work one, and its not on a domain?

Go to services see if bfe / base filtering engine is on auto. if it isnt put it on auto then see if it starts
Speedy Gonzales (78)
1350771 2013-08-07 06:32:00 If this can get online now put teamviewer on it, and send the ID and pw to me in a PM. I'll check it out Speedy Gonzales (78)
