| 1350521 | 2013-08-11 22:52:00 | Here's something else that could work... download and install Seamonkey - its an all-in-one Internet browser, email client and includes Composer, a web authoring tool. Start the programme, open the Composer element, and then try open the .pdf document in that. | Greg (193) | ||
| 1350522 | 2013-08-11 23:03:00 | Well, all options seem to have failed! I couldn't send it to anybody for assistance (thanks for the offers) because at 20MB, the file size was too big. Did you try the website I mentioned? I know I've used a website to remove a PDF password before, just can't remember exactly which. Otherwise, you surely should be able to send it to someone. I know my Yahoo\Xtra email for example can handle attachments up to 25MB. Or if that doesn't work, you could always upload it to a site like Rapidshare or such. |

I'm pretty sure that I tried all the suggested options, then I went on line and found several more. Of those, I tried the ones that didn't look like they had a sting in their tail. I spent a few hours on it too dammit, but they all either reported failure at an early stage, or asked for a password. I'll have one more look to see if I can find the original site, but all I have to search on is the book title, and I suspect it is no longer on line. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
