1351409 2013-08-17 06:43:00 Greetings for 2013 !
I find that sometimes when I am using Photoshop Elements 11 my desktop runs out of grunt. It seems I might need some more RAM..... or should I upgrade my video card ?
Currently have 4 Gig RAM. Indeed can I upgrade my RAM at all ? I think my video card is a Ge Force 8400 GS (is that it ??)

Have Windows 7.
Cheers

1351410 2013-08-17 07:12:00 Do you have 64 bit windows? Also, you can't really change a laptop graphics card... darkoverlord123 (16996)

1351412 2013-08-17 08:43:00 +1. If your motherboard hasn't already reached maximum memory capacity.
Do you know what MB you are using?

Am presuming that the motherboard can cope with more RAM, but will need to check. "What MB (I) am using" ??? - what does that mean

To find out what type of RAM you need for your PC, you can go to here:
www.crucial.com

It'll then tell you the current vs max RAM that your PC can take etc :)
