195201	2003-11-29 08:02:00	Well we don't all want to be the same now do we? Otherwise there would be only one SEX. Only one Political Party. Only one religion. Only one Operating system. Only one computer brand. Only one car to drive. Only one place to live. Only one culture. Only one pair of Parents and we can be clones. We would all be siblings and I can finish up being my own Grandpa as the song said. Life would be really exciting I don't think!!! Debate and Communication ( to me ) is what it's all about. Debating is about attacking the argument rather than attacking the person presenting the argument. Don't shoot the messenger as it were If someone asks a question I try to answer to the best of my ability. There are lots of questions around that I can't yet find an answer for. Like what happens when an irresistible force meets an immovable object. Not that I need to know right now! Mind you.... If you have the answer to this then I am prepared to listen or read as the case may be.	Elephant (599)

Win.,was a bit cryptic,nay very cryptic,can we assume inner peace is not a desireable objective? I am of the opinion that the mind is scattered and therefore subject to whatever happens to be floating by (GF is excluded from this of course). The meditation gurus tell us that by stilling the mind we will become less influenced by these outside influences,what I can say is,its easier said than done.	Thomas (1820)

195206	2003-11-29 10:03:00	OK... Look at it this way. If I was standing in the road and a 42 ton truck with trailer ran over me then I would say that I was not immovable even if I was an elephant. I won't even comment about what would happen to a Beetle. :-( Take the same truck and trailer and it runs into one of the Great Pyramids then I don't think the Pyramid would move very far. If the object is not movable then it won't be moved. If the force is irresistible and doesn't move the object then the force IS resistible. It's a little like having a universal solvent which dissolves anything. If you have that what would you keep it in? My brain hurts and I'm off to bed soon.	Elephant (599)
