| 195266 | 2003-11-27 20:13:00 | Ok heres the problem. My work laptop connects to a domain. At home I am wanting to connect the laptop to my other desktop PC via a workgroup without loosing the domain settings everytime i.e. I dont want to just join the workgroup as I then can't connect to the domain until I get back to work which is no good as I use a VPN from home for work. I just thought about making the laptop a dual boot system with XP installed twice, once for the workgroup and once for the domain. That way I can logon to either network and still access everything on both partitions from my home pc. Has anyone tried this or can anyone think of any other solutions? Thanks. B. |
