195266 2003-11-27 20:13:00 Ok heres the problem. My work laptop connects to a domain. At home I am wanting to connect the laptop to my other desktop PC via a workgroup without loosing the domain settings everytime i.e. I dont want to just join the workgroup as I then can't connect to the domain until I get back to work which is no good as I use a VPN from home for work. I just thought about making the laptop a dual boot system with XP installed twice, once for the workgroup and once for the domain. That way I can logon to either network and still access everything on both partitions from my home pc. Has anyone tried this or can anyone think of any other solutions?
Thanks.

195268 2003-11-27 21:25:00 Thought that that might work for a second but when I had a look it seems that all users are either a member of a domain or a workgroup, there cant be both. If I change the settings for one user it changes them for everyone.
Any other ideas?
