195696 2003-11-29 08:36:00 Saw a couple of systems from approx $800 - 1600 maybe some more set ups. They didn't have any HDDs when I was there but obviously a few people were interested and they said some will be arriving later.

Nice round cables for $5. Got a powerboard/zap catcher for $15 but came without phone cables bugger !!! Can anybody tell me what the RJ plug is called that goes into the back of a modem?

Forgot the brand of the 15" - 17" LCDs - Korean made I think.

Invoices were from a crowd up in Hamilton.

Modem is RJ45 if I am not mistaken. Just ask the guy at the shop and say u need it for a telephone line.

195699 2003-11-29 09:24:00 Clarification required. RJ 11 from modem to ph socket, RJ 45 from modem to network card or switch/hub.

195700 2003-11-29 12:07:00 Yeah, there is some pretty reasonably priced gear there...

The Wellington one had 17" TFT's brand new, stacks of RAM, CD and DVD Rom drives, a bit of software at reasonable prices if you're into licenced software... a few machines etc

Just bearing in mind that the PC Co has a bit of a reputation for some "quality issues" and they are only selling the same gear they usually sell so those quality issues are likely to still be there... especially as there is nowhere you can go back to now.
