Only an idiot would download Open Office, Gimp, or a kernel from anywhere other than the official sites, or their mirrors. There are MD5 signatures, and other ways of checking that what you get is exactly the authorized version. Of course, there are a lot of idiots on the Internet, but they deserve anything they get. |
