Best advice? Try it again later...

196418 2003-12-02 02:47:00 yup, thats the one. Thanks guys...just as I suspected. Hopefully it will be up again tomorrow or something. Maybe some hacker found an overflow in the overflow flow or something??

196419 2003-12-02 02:49:00 Windows Update site online and working (at least under WinXP) Windows Update (v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com) and the Download centre (www.microsoft.com) and the Windows Update Catalogue (v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com)

comman problems is the server being blocked by host file, activeX disabled or its just really busy.

So far have tried:
Clearing cache
Clearing cookies
Clearing history
Clearing autocomplete and passwords
Checking hosts log
Active X settings
Firewall
Antivirus

any other suggestions more then welcome.
