| 196353 | 2003-12-09 00:18:00 | I used to subscribe to the English PCPro but in the end decided they had sold their soul to MS as they virtualy refused to even mention Linux and one guy I used to have respect for gave a review of a product that was very flawed (before that was the US PCMagazine) and if you took out all the adverts the mag would be a fraction of the size. I realise that they have to advertise but the adverts were everywhere with the occassional folded page or on heavier paper and that is a pet hate of mine because you can't flip through the mag the same way. Digital cameras do have a place in the modern pc mag. I think it is a good maga trying to cater for as broader audience as possible. |

| 196356 | 2003-12-09 00:46:00 | For those people who owns a cell phone, pda, digital camera and PC would find PC World is a great mag to read :D Would even be better if PC World is a weekly magazine :) |

| 196357 | 2003-12-09 01:14:00 | If PC World were put out weekly, the production costs would run so high that the price of the magazine would have to increase substantially, unless it became a smaller publication. What about those that own cellphones that also act as a PDA, digital camera, and music player? :p |

Do you remember sitting up front and wondering if the cars would get off the tracks in time? I know Tranzrail drivers have a hard time at level crossings today, but I reckon the stress levels for tram drivers would have been off the clock. Apart from those road-centre set down islands their whole route was one great big level crossing. Cheers Billy 8-{) :D Just thinking back, getting your bike tyres caught in the track was a sure-fire tumble, and a bent wheel rim to boot.:( |

Yeah... just that technology is moving so fast, especially in Computer World, would be nice to keep update :P and that if Womans Weekly can survive ... ]:) > > What about those that own cellphones that also act as > a PDA, digital camera, and music player? :p Oh .. another item needs to be covered here :) .. Now, just because you didnt get injured in the bush or get lost doesnt mean that it never happens. I dont personally know anyone that has ever been lost, but it DOES happen. so what would be usefull in a situatuion like this.............hummm maybe a phone. But wait! I dont know where I am so I cant get to the nearest phone. Hummmm, maybe I should have taken a CELL PHONE with me! Now for the digital cameras......................Just this Sunday I used a Sony Cybershot. Much to my surprise, it was crap! It had very little zoom and when you take a photo it makes a stupid fake camera sound. I sure am glad that it wasnt my camera, infact I felt sorry for the person that paid for it. But if I was to buy a camera, I would look for advice so that I dodnt end up buying a cybershot. Hummm........where would I look for this advice.............IN PC WORLD! Because I trust their reviwes and opinions. So to sum up. Get with the times, and stop bitching if you can use technology. RTFM! or just press f1! |
