save up and get a dvd burner like i did it does everything mind you its fastyer to use a standard burner for cdrs and also it saves wear and tear on the dvd burner |

If we knew the manufacturer of this drive, we would be able to give feedback on it.
Such as, Samsung combo drives have suffered from short lifetime of the lasers due to the special lens used. |

I agree thaT SAMSUNG TEND TO HAVE A HIGHER FAILURE RATE than normal I just got a 4x Liteon dvd burner got it going and its does 4.7 gigs on dvd rw in about 28 mins or 14 mins in dvd r format means i dont have to have 100's of cdrs now as one dvd can hold over 6x what a cdr can . |
