196513 2003-12-02 08:53:00 I have just installed the Nero 6 (3 day unlimited trial) demo from the PCW CD-Rom.
It installed fine (once I uninstalled my current NERO 5.5.10) and I successfully used it once before exiting the application.
Upon trying to use it again, it wouldn't let me use the demo version and wanted me to purchase the full version.
I tried uninstalling, reinstalling and then restarting my PC but this didn't alleviate the problem.

Any one had the same problem and managed to reolve it??

Thanks

C Ali

Wipe all folders named /ahead/nero and try again?

196515 2003-12-02 09:39:00 i'm not sure with ver 6 but if you download the demo it runs for 30 days and in most cases they release a new ver which when installed will run for 30 days. tweak'e (174)
196516 2003-12-30 11:07:00 Was given the Dec/Jan issue for xmas. Nero 6 installed ok but when I attempted to use it, it told me that it had already expired. No 30 days trial, not even 30 seconds! What's with this? Blue Druid (4480)
196517 2003-12-30 11:29:00 My copy of Nero 6 wouldn't work either.
I think it is a bloated version of Nero 5+,
I am quite happy with 5.
I too, had a hell of job getting rid of it, as I was prevented from registering Nero 5 when I reinstalled. Would not accept the serial number.

Have you tried the burner called "Burn Quick"? Very small and brilliant. It was on one the PC World CD's.

196518 2003-12-30 13:00:00 Quite frankly I don't think demo versions are worth installing as you end up with more problems than it is worth if you have a legit previous version installed. mikebartnz (21)
