196441 2003-12-02 03:04:00 does anyone know how to tell media player 9 to stop recognising CDs, as it thinks that now 13 is "nirvana uk". this would be ok except fo the fact that thinks that "zed/ hard to find her" is called "rape me". plus my little sister is always looking over my shoulder. both 98se and XP home think this. i am desprate. i like now 13 Megaman (344)

In the Player tab, change Check for updates to 'Once a month'. Deselect Download codecs automatically.

In the Media Library tab, deselect Update my music files (WMA and MP3 files) by retrieving missing media information from the Internet.

In the Privacy tab, deselect everything. Yes, that's right, deselect every single option in the Privacy tab. It'll stop Microsoft spying on your media habits and invading your experience by incorrectly naming songs.

I find it very difficult to believe that a CD by Nirvana (or by anyone, in fact, or any compilation) could have exactly the same song lengths as Now That's What I Call Music Vol. 13.
