196891 2003-12-05 07:17:00 Hey guys esp. Biff - I didn't mean to, or want to, start any war about who has what in his tender regions. I'm a bit sorry I posted this at all, I didn't know it was such a touchy subject.

Moderator - is there a way of deleting this entire thread please??

Thanks anyway

M...

[Admin] It's not a touchy subject and one offesnive postger should not be allowed to riun a good thread. -Bruce

196893 2003-12-05 07:36:00 There are some good links here- Biff's last line in his post was uncalled for alright. Martina please don't take it seriously. No need to be sorry about your
post at all. It was well intentioned.

This typed of thing does happen time to time on PF1, which is very sad :(

196896 2003-12-05 17:51:00 Martina, you haven't done anything wrong . You were doing something very kind and helpful by sharing your knowledge with us fellow forum-users . Biff didn't have to express his opinions as it is unsuitable for this forum, and unjustified .

This is a warning to you Biff - the moderators *might* have already had enough of you based on what you've posted in the past, so watch out . (Bruce, if you're watching/reading, please take note) .

As the others have already said, thanks for all your helpful resources, and also the resources which other posters have shared to help us with safer computing .

196898 2003-12-06 01:08:00 The failed on js being enabled isn't really a fail-is either enabled or not. The only one I failed on was the js homepage lock-in but as the other js failed it's difficult to imagine this happening-ie hasn't so far touch wood. Running win98 and Firebird 0.7 here. It appears my win98 box is more secure than your Linux box ;)he he. mark.p (383)
196899 2003-12-06 01:15:00 Oops the other js didn't fail-must use the preveiw option. mark.p (383)
196900 2003-12-06 01:46:00 Martina, I'm glad that you found that site useful, thanks for refreshing our memories on it . :-)

As the others have said, just ignore Biff's grumpy outburst . He may have a rather immature way of expressing his dislike of Steve Gibson on a public forum but that does not mean that your thread/topic should be taken down .

We do, unfortunately, have a small number of rather unpleasant people on this forum but don't let that put you off contributing in the future . We don't want the helpful people outnumbered by the miserable ones, do we? ;-)
