196805 2003-12-03 05:41:00 I looking at buying a elitegroup L4vxa2 mobo.
I have 3 questions:
1.is it any good
2.any known problems
3.will a p4 willamette 400FSB Cpu

if any can help that would be great.

2. Its made by elitegroup
3. yes
Seriously spend a few dollars( literally according to pricespy) more and go for an asus, gigabyte or asrock board. I personally have never had a good run with any mobo from elitegroup.

196808 2003-12-30 14:16:00 As with any component its best to look for actual reviews on the model you are looking at to see if any real tests have been done on it.

Elitegroup like all manufacterers have some models that don't perform as well as they should or have glitches with them,This is why we get model revisions,All manufacters do it.

And while im on my high horse,Can the next person to state that asus are the best ever and never release dodgy gear please go to google, enter asus motherboard problem into the search feild and browse through the 48 billion results.....

Where was i,oh yeah,Elitegroup on the whole make excellent performing and reliable boards,Usually they are missing the advanced features seldom used by 99 percent of people.

But look up some specific info on the board first. If there are inherent problems with that model a google will show it.
