197311 2003-12-04 22:14:00 I know Need for Speed Porsche 2000 has the music in separate files, from memory they were .wma files - but they wouldn't open in Windows Media player.

One way might be to do a "recording" of the music, while you leave the game running. You can do that using an audio recording program (such as Cool Edit Pro - demo version on manufacturers website works for 21 days, no limitations - except for MP3), and to set the "recording" device to Wave:
Find the Windows Mixer/Volume Control. Go to Options-Properties, select "Recording" under "Adjust volume for". Make sure "Wave" is ticked in the list underneath. Click ok.
Then tick the box next to "Select" under the "wave" column.

Now it will record what is being played by whatever software, as though it were a mic.

197312 2003-12-04 22:32:00 u could try searching winamp or google for some sort of plugin, there is a winamp plugin to play unreal tournaments .utx (i think its utx) files. u might not find one though, considereing the game isnt as popular as UT. Jimmy D (2061)

Hi .
I've just recently purchased need for speed underground .
Its got some great spngs on there - i wannted to add them to my mp3 collection, only thing, when i go into the games directory, the folder "tracks ( i presume this is where the songs are - i looked in all the rest) all the files are . bun and . bin files .

I can't open the . bin files with winiso, or burn them to cd, = errors .

Now, i no some people might think this ain't good (especially with those rules outlined on the top page) but i paid money for the game - and the makers (i'd say) paid the musicans to put the songs on the game - so i'd say its all good (my opinion!)
I have madden 2003 - and all those songs are in mp3 format - just copy over .

So does anyone know of a way or a program that opens these formats ( . bun & . bin) and so i can change them to mp3?

If this thread is against the rules - just ignore it, or a moderator block it - and i won't do it again .

Cool
