| 197043 | 2003-12-03 20:22:00 | Hi. When I'm creating web pages for my customers I usually preview the page in IE6, in my existing resolution of 1026x768, on my 17" monitor which is currently the world's most popular setting (according to my websites' stats). But I also like to check it out in 15" mode at 800x600. So (using Dreamweaver MX) I press my F12 key to open IE to preview the page, it norrmally opens full-screen. If I want to check it in 800x600 mode, I click the Restore button (overlapping squares in the upper right corner). My problem is that I don't know if this window is exactly 800x600 - I just use an aproximation. Does anyone know how to make the smaller IE window EXACTLY 800x600? Thx |

Only problem with this is that it seems to translate to 800 x 600 innerwidth & innerheight (viewable area rather than including scrollbars, toolbars, etc.) Surely Dreamweaver must have a "preview in this size" setting?? HTML-Kit does :) It's probably easier just to change your resolution. |
