| 197826 | 2003-12-06 04:43:00 | When I try to send a message in Outlook Express, as soon as I click on the 'send' button in the compose mail window, my internet connection disconnects, and the message is placed in the outbox. Only when it has reconnected does it send the message. I have had a look through all the settings but I cannot find anything that would appear to correct it. Does anyone know how to fix this? The computer is running Windows ME and is connected to Paradise for the internet. Outlook Express is version 6. Thanks, -Athol Hamilton |

| 197827 | 2003-12-06 06:36:00 | Hi Athol, You are connected to Paradise - are you trying to send your email through the same Paradise connection? Somewhere in Outlook Express settings (I think Tools > Options > Connections) there's an option you can tick that says something like "Ask before switching connections" - if you tick this Outlook Express will tell you it's going to disconnect before it can send the email (because your settings tell it to send through another account). Check in the same area of Options (I think) to make sure that Outlook Express is set to connect to the same internet connection that you are using already. Mike. |
