197766 2003-12-06 02:17:00 You can't.
You have no control over threads, irrespective of being the creator.

You can ask a moderator (by e-mailing them) but it's their decision.

197767 2003-12-06 03:03:00 Godfather is correct there, you can’t make a thread close, unless it bricks the PF1 Rules or it get out of hand. stu140103 (137)

Ummm... What are you saying Stu?

That you can't close a thread unless it breaks the PF1 rules, .... so just how can you close it when it does break the rules?

Just to clarify, as Stu's post has caused uncertainty.

Only a moderator can close (lock) edit or delete a thread, under any circumstance

That's as bad as BIFF's comments, in my opinion.

I don't know the context in which albatross intended the statement about tying a knot, but there have been similar humourous responses to threads with more than one interpretation recently. And did I spot comments like "LAME" from you in those threads? No.

197773 2003-12-07 07:44:00 Threads (or string or rope) and knots go together, whats the problem? :) Terry Porritt (14)
197774 2003-12-07 08:16:00 See what I mean? Terry's done it too!

I must also apologise for leaping up about your "lame" comment.

And now I'll just say it's getting a bit apologetic around here.
