It will run quite happily in a dos box (just tested and rebooted to varify on my win98 box) or plain ol dos prompt. It overights the main master boot record with the backup copy. |

We all know bad advice has been given in the past, so he was trying to help. A reply more to learning/education rather than sarcasim or "dumbo" style would be more helpful and appropriate. |

Doing "fdisk /mbr" just restores the MBR to the original. |
