| 197519 | 2003-12-05 03:21:00 | Hi - im trying to get all my networks internet traffic to go through my linux box, which is running Mandrake 9.1, then from my linux box to my router. This is my networks IP setup at the moment: Router:192.168.1.2 PC1:192.168.1.3 PC2:192.168.1.4 Linux Box:192.168.1.5 Right now, PC1 and PC2 are connecting directly to the router, i need to setup the linux box to be a gateway, set my gateway IP's on PC1 and PC2 to 192.168.1.5 and have them utilize squid, ip tables, and some firewalling software, from the linux box, and connect to the net. Could someone please walk me through this setup as im still very new to linux. Cheers, -jordan |
