| 197476 | 2003-12-05 00:44:00 | Browser Not Supported for Hotmail and Yahoo. I got this message ?Browser Not Supported Microsoft® .NET Passport no longer supports the Web browser version you are using. Please upgrade to a current Web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or later, or Netscape Navigator version 4.08 or later.? Any idea why when both browsers Opera and IE6 are the latest with patches . Thanks |

| 197477 | 2003-12-05 01:12:00 | Security Settings are too high? Browsers not accepting cookies? - although that usually gets a different "You need to have cookies enabled to use this service"... Internet Explorer > Tools > Security (IIRC) > lower the bar to medium or below. If that doesn't fix it, IE > Tools > Advanced > Reset Defaults |

| 197478 | 2003-12-05 01:19:00 | lightfoot, Adding to cbyerchuck's comments... you can always change the useragent string setting to 'fool' the web site(s) into thinking your browser is something else. e.g. my Mozilla Firebird browser announces itself as: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1) or Opera/7.21 (Windows NT 5.1; U) [en] or Mozilla/4.8 [en] (Windows NT 5.1; U) or Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 or ... whatever I want! See userAgentStrings (twiki.iwethey.org) for more info. Cheers, Babe. |
