197819 2003-12-06 08:16:00 Okay, we re-installed win98se overtop of it but still no success.

I question microsoft, really i do.

We have tried everything, where is the setting for which logon to use..?
MrBeef (342)
197820 2003-12-06 08:48:00 under prpoerties of "network" you will find login setting for what to use.

set it to CFMN

reboot

when the system boots you should get a login box with a icon of two keys.

at this point you MUST login with a username a password, if you hit cancel you will have nothing but problems.

197821 2003-12-06 09:31:00 is that under "Primary Network Logon"

because that is already set to CFMN, but it come up with a Windows Logon box with 2 keys or whatever, no "CFMN Logon" so therefore it is not on the network.

197822 2003-12-06 10:08:00 in that case it must be that you dont have the network card installed right or something...... robsonde (120)
197823 2003-12-06 10:15:00 have a read of this page.....

www.windowsnetworking.com

if that gives no luck then have a read of other info at that site.

197824 2003-12-06 10:26:00 When we logon thru Windows Logon, the computer can use the internet, all that is setup correctly. MrBeef (342)
197825 2003-12-06 10:58:00 From that website, at the bottom of it, i don't have the AutoLogon but then i dont have anything under "netcard"or "transport" MrBeef (342)
