197762 2003-12-07 19:28:00 I doubt you are going to be able to image your drive over a network for free but have a look at Major Geeks' site and see if they have got anything .

Failing that you could just copy all your data over to the other computer then repartition and reformat the new one and reinstall all your programs .

As far as having Win XP on two partitions on the same computer I have done it but didn't like it and it is a waste of space . Like I said previously do the job properly the first time around if you want to avoid hassles in the future .

197763 2003-12-07 19:53:00 If you've got a CD burner, you could just backup all your IMPORTANT files to a stack of CDRs or RWs.

NTFS is still better than FAT32, as it has more support for large files, and security support so if you want to keep pesky siblings out of your files.

197764 2003-12-07 22:58:00 I have Norton Ghost 2000, but I thought that didnt work on XP?

That is what someone told me any way.

Havnt got a CD Burner.
