197798 2003-12-06 02:50:00 Hi, we have a computer running win98se on a network along with 2 win xp and 2 win98se.

Now this computer can use the internet thru Windows Logon, but it cannot see the other computers on the network. All firewalls are off because the other computers on the network can see each other.

I am wondering how to get Clients for Microsoft Network to come up at logon. Yes we have set primary logon as CFMN. I think that if this comes up the network will fully work.

None of the computers can ping this computer (the one that doesn't have CFMN)

197802 2003-12-06 03:10:00 okay, we tried that.

197803 2003-12-06 03:21:00 The windows logon box is what runs, prior to entering the desktop, when you install CFMN. mark.p (383)
197804 2003-12-06 03:23:00 Enter a username and password-reenter password and see it the other boxes show up in Network neighborhood. mark.p (383)
197805 2003-12-06 03:24:00 But we need CFMN to run so that he can logon to the network.

But it won't.

none of the other Win98se computers Windows Logon box comes up at start up.

197806 2003-12-06 03:26:00 Because they'll most probably be setup as "Windows Logon" in NN. mark.p (383)
