197792 2003-12-06 02:25:00 Have just bought a Sony Digital Camera and extra cards for a holiday in Australia. When I returned I viewed the pictures once but then when I reinsert the card I get a message no information. When I check the properties for the Sony card I can see it is still full.
Maybe my fault as I attempted to view them with trial versions of Adobe
Photo Album and ACDsee. I am (a) pretty new and (b) probably fairly stupid. I did remember seeing an article some months a go in and English MAgazine "What Digital Camera is That" where I think another reader had the same problem. The results were absolutely fantastic but I have lost about half the pictures I took.
Can any one help please?

197793 2003-12-06 02:49:00 This might be useful. I've just got a digital camera at an auction, so I've been getting software and manuals off the Internet. The review for my camera gives the name of what the reviewer calls esential ... "a tookl to rescue your images when one of your cards fails at some time ...". :D The programme is Photorescue, by DataRescue SA. It's $29 (US), but you download it then pay when you need it. (I assume it shows what it can do, without actually recovering the files, until you pay. :D) This was at the end of the review for my Canon camera (www.imaging-resource.com). You'll find the links in that paragraph. There's probably a review for your camera too. ;-) Graham L (2)
