A combination of the good and the beautiful in a person

I'm not quite sure that you would get away with telling somebody that they are "truly kalokagathic", but I'm going to dedicate this week's word to Susan anyway, for reasons that need no explanation if you have been around PF1 for any length of time.

Cheers

Billy 8-{) :)
I'll be away for the next two weeks and Susan
has kindly agreed to stand in for me, so I'll
leave you in her capable hands. Thanks Sis :x

197524 2003-12-05 07:19:00 From my observations on Press F1, I wholeheartedly agree, Susan you are "truly kalokagathic".

The forum and its readers are extremely lucky to have such willing knowledgeable people as you (and numerous others) available as unpaid helpers for their computer problems.

Cheers,

exLL :) :)

197526 2003-12-06 02:13:00 Oh my gosh. Billy!! :O :8} :8}

You are a typical big bruvver, Billy, buttering me up to con me into filling your big boots while you're away. You know full well it takes four of my feet to fill one of your Doc Martens. :p :D

Have to say though, that since Wednesday my insides have been feeling anything but good and beautiful, courtesy of a dose of food poisoning from a lunch out. It amazes me that no one in my family got a dose of Bali Belly during the two weeks spent there a couple of years ago yet I got as crook as a dog after eating in what is supposed to be a reputable restaurant here. Have only today been able to eat slightly more than a sparrow without unpleasant tummy discomfort since Wednesday night. Won't be going to that restaurant again. :-(

Anyway, thank you for the kind words Billy, exLL and Laura and have a wonderful break Billy, you will be missed. :x :-)

197527 2003-12-06 03:21:00 Oh dear Susan :O Not a happy experience:(

I hope your misfortune doesn't give you Deipnophobia (the fear of dining) as there are many (and certainly happier) culinary experiences yet to be had.

I spent a couple of weeks in India once (and once only!) where I was struck down by Sterculius the Roman God of er...um......well...... you know....... that, and it took me six months to recover my normal body weight.

Get well soon:8}

Cheers

You know I don't make these words up Susan, but just
in case there are any doubters out there, take a look
Here (www.beavis-butthead.ru) for Sterculian confirmation. See paras 3-5.

197528 2003-12-07 06:35:00 As long as its sorted by next Friday Susan, we wouldn't want to see it affecting the topic ;)

Cheers Murray P

Miami again or have you some new sites to see Billy?
Murray P (44)
197529 2003-12-07 07:48:00 Local this time Murray, wouldn't want to be away for Christmas. :D

Cheers
