| 198538 | 2003-12-08 22:18:00 | Is it possible to link two computers up and somehow while the two computers are connectin using a usb cable or something.Drag the mp3s into a special hardrive which is the other computer's hardrive. And the mp3 will copied to the other side of the computer? My cd writer isn't working no more.Took it to the shop and they dunno how to fix it.The cd writer only had a minor problem. It just won't eject and read. The laser head and fan are completely fine. |

| 198539 | 2003-12-08 22:33:00 | this would be a network. you can get USB network connection cables but they are special and do cast a bit. the other way is a "classic" network, you will need two network cards @ $25 each and a cross over cable at a cost of about $3 per meter. either system will let you drag and drop files from one compiuter to the other. good luck and if you need help setting up the network then there is a faq and we are able to help on the forum too. |

| 198540 | 2003-12-09 00:13:00 | No need to setup a network. You could just do this with a crossover cable - some come with software to enable USB bridge connections. Try Dick Smiths or somewhere like that. | parry (27) | ||
| 198541 | 2003-12-09 00:51:00 | If this is only a one time transfer, just take the hdd out from the PC you want to copied to and put it in the PC that has all the MP3s and transfer it from there :) | SKT174 (1319) | ||
