198309 2003-12-08 04:28:00 Following the printer command, this printer is refusing to feed paper no matter whether it is a single or multiple sheets. Following an attempt to print, the Control Panel indicates Error 1 which means (according to the manual) a paper jam. The paper is not jammed. Even pressing the FF button doesn't result in paper being fed. I am using XP Home and have the latest drivers installed. Any ideas please? Smurf (506)

198311 2003-12-08 04:36:00 I'm still a believer in having buttons on printers. Being able to manually feed paper, and do test printing without a computer were nice things.

I bet your printer doesn't have any. :_| All I can suggest is: turn its power off, leave it a while, then try again. If it's still recalcitrant, it somtimes helps to open the lid and close it again. That (if there is a switch to detect the lid open) sometimes acts to tell the internal processor that the user has done "something" in response to its error message.
