| 198255 | 2003-12-07 23:35:00 | Hi, Having problems with a mates computer. He brought a computer from the PC Company about 6-8 months ago when they were still alive. The monitor now seems to have a problem (the display is stuck on extreme wide screen and you cannot adjust the setting to reduce the wideness of the screen as they are already at their lowest setting). Anyway, after ringing their 0900 number, I am unable to reach them at any time of the day, it says I am unable to ring from my location (Westport, West Coast). It still has a three year warranty so I need to contact so the problem can be fixed. Any ideas on how to contact them or what to do in this case? Cheers, Veale |

| 198260 | 2003-12-08 01:00:00 | Since the actual PC Company has gone under, there is nobody really to claim your warranty to. The only thing you can do is to make use of the CMANZ warranty, which will mean that your warranty issue will be dealt with by another company, not the PC Company. As far as I know, CMANZ will honour whatever warranty was on the PC Company computers. |
