| 198371 | 2003-12-09 21:32:00 | Warning . Opinion piece . I tend to agree that this subject is un-necessary on PF1 even if it has been on the news (totally missed by yours truly and haven't, in the slightest, been tempted to find it on the net) even though I generally adhere to the notion that censorship is, pc we know better what is good for you, twaddle there has to be a line somewhere and this forum is not your own home or the movie theater . On the subject of the maturity of younger people, IMO, generally the thought that kids are more mature these days is rubbish . With some obvious exceptions, some of whom can be found gracing PF1, most kids these days are probably less mature and prepared for life as responsible, earning adults (not that earning should be the "test") . What you do encounter is that kids are knowledgeable of and doing things that would normally (used to be) considered actions of an adult/older person . Doing and fully understanding and taking responsibility for your thoughts and actions are not the same as; doing end of story . Knowledge is not intelligence or learning or maturity or fact, its simply knowing something or believing that you do . Big diff Rant over ;) thanks for listening . Cheers Murray P |

I knew I could rely on you to maintain your almost perfect score of pointless and witless posts. Keep it up though, you make the rest of us look good. Cheers Billy 8-{) :D It's good for dogs to have a few fleas. It gives them something to scratch when there's no cats to chase. |
