199053 2003-12-10 02:24:00 I wanted to find out which services were being run by svchost.exe so went to:

support.microsoft.com

and followed the instructions but they don't seem to work. Anyone know how to display the services being run please?

Thanks

199054 2003-12-10 02:42:00 martina,

Are you running Windows XP Home Edition? If so then TASKLIST is not available with that version only WinXP Pro. Although there may be a similar tool for download.

Cheers, Babe.

199055 2003-12-10 02:43:00 It applies to XP Professional.

199057 2003-12-10 02:56:00 martina,

here is a link to Process Explorer from SystemInternals (www.sysinternals.com) which does a similar job... just download and unzip to a known driectory then run it from that directory. there is lots of online help available from within the program itself. When starting the program you can ignore the "process Explorer Warning" message and click OK

Cheers, Babe.
