| 198715 | 2003-12-09 07:23:00 | hi all .i would like to delete the previous ms messenger as it auto signs me in when ever i connect to the internet.all options are blanked out and cause it has some sort of link with outlook i cant delete it manually,is there an easy way around this as i am still on my learners license have ms xp home add thanx. | ferrite (4221) | ||
| 198716 | 2003-12-09 07:26:00 | You would be meaning Windows Messenger The easiest way is to simply rename the C:\Program Files\Messenger\ folder to something like: C:\Program Files\Windows Messenger Backup\ Just dont apply any Windows Messenger updates from WindowsUpdate or it'll re-get it :-) Cheers Chill. |
