| 199051 | 2003-12-10 05:23:00 | What directory are they in C:\winnt\temp ? Usually I would say they are safe to delete if they're temp files that an app has used during an install or some operation. Closest I got on Google was this (www.abxzone.com) but if your not getting any of the symptoms then you can probably dicount it. You could pop them in your recycle bin and see what happens. Could also be the actions of a dropper type virus or other nasty that uses temp to hide in while it replicates but, thats only a wild guess. Got some more info; directory, hardware (if having prob's), properties/dates on files that could be aligned to changes you have made or events. Cheers Murray P |
