1352375 2013-08-30 05:59:00 Hi there,

Had our fibre connection upgraded today and decided to take the Telecom modem (Technicolor TG587n) as we have had connection issues with our old ASUS modem. I wasn't around when the Chorus engineer installed the equipment and found that the SSID and Wireless Key are provided by Telecom. I would like to change these for obvious security reasons but can't seem to find a way to do it. Is it fixed and if so why? Is there any way to get to these settings and set a Wireless Key that only we know?

TIA
Miami Steve (2128)
1352376 2013-08-30 06:02:00 Reset the modem. Or download the manual (help.telecom.co.nz). Thats if its V3 Speedy Gonzales (78)
1352377 2013-08-30 06:28:00 It's not a *big* deal because I believe it's based on the WAN MAC address which you've got to physically have access to the unit to find out. It's not like they're all set the same as "admin12345" or something silly :D Chilling_Silence (9)
