| 1329713 | 2013-02-24 09:17:00 | Hi Team Mrs T wants to buy four oak dining chairs via TM, but they are located in Carterton and are pick up only, while we are on the North Shore in Auckland. I've searched fairly extensively on the web and through TM but can't see any service that offers pick-up and packing. I found 'Pack & Ship' which seems to align with TM buyers and sellers, but their branches are few and far between, the closest to Carterton being Wellington! It is too far to drive, but the chairs are not suitable for a standard courier pick-up and would need some basic protection for the journey North. This can't be an unusual or uncommon situation, so how is it normally achieved? Anybody know the answers? Cheers Billy 8-{) |

I'm not sure when I'll be next up and if they'll fit in my car though :p Out of utter coincidence, I think you *might* have bought the missus' neighbours stuff :D small world if it is |

| 1329717 | 2013-02-24 09:46:00 | Post a question on the auction page and ask the seller if they would be prepared to meet your needs part-way :) | Zippity (58) | ||

| 1329720 | 2013-02-26 08:41:00 | I'm working on getting ShipMyTrade on the job, but first I have to get address and phone number details from the seller, and at present his bank account number is incorrect, as is the replacement he sent (that is clear enough evidence that there is no scam!) so I can't even pay him. The seller is genuine, his feedback is clean, and there is nothing shonky about the deal, but he doesn't have the makings for packing, though he would drop them at the shipper's' local depot for us. Problem is, that particular shipper has a cavalier attitude to customers' goods (as declared in their condtions for transport) and basically they are saying 'If it ain't boxed, it goes into the heap, and if it gets damaged, stiff shlt'.
