1328748 2013-02-19 19:19:00 I see to appease some Maori we now have a Race Based Health System which promotes Hocus Pocus medicine.

Take a good look at THIS (www.3news.co.nz), even one of their own is laughing.

Now don’t get me wrong, if you want to use alternative medicines, that’s fine by me, as long as you do it at your own expense not mine.

And if you find wrapping a broken leg in Dock Leaves is not successful, I don’t want to know about it.

Wasting money like this is outrageous given the waiting lists for Joint Replacements, Cataract Surgery and other elective surgery.

I wonder just how low a government can stoop in the hope of obtaining a few votes?

1328749 2013-02-19 19:35:00 Beats me how any witch doctor gets to practice.

naturopaths, chiropractors etc.

Loads of people have this thing about past medicine. Don't they realise 90% of it didn't work? And the few plants that did, well, then people figured out how to extract the helpful part, without having to use the entire thing with the parts that were undesirable in a lot of cases.

Like these half-wits:

Mate, it is never ending.
Another 5.5 mil here........

The report by Fairfax media that Crown negotiators working for Treaty Negotiations Minister Chris Finlayson on the Treaty settlement process have picked up million dollar fees shows the Treaty of Waitangi grievance industry has become an insatiable gravy train not just for the iwi elite, but also for ex-politicians and the ‘in’ crowd.[1]

1328752 2013-02-19 21:54:00 It's actually good to see B.M saying "some" Maori, rather than the usual accusations of "all" the_bogan (9949)
