That is called creative invention. The figure is 8.2 million for Greater London and to boot "Just 3.7million Londoners described their ethnicity as 'White British' in 2011 - down from 4.3million in 2001, and making up 44.9 per cent of the city's population."

Interestingly the population of London is virtually unchanged since the 1930's at 8 million, and Birmingham also has been at 1 million since the 30s.

The big differences have been the drastic reduction in indigenous populations of the two cities over the last 50 years with the indigenous populations halving due to 'white flight' and being replaced by immigrants.

I note we don't have brown flight.

1329406 2013-02-23 17:51:00 I think most of us have been taught and believed that the original inhabitants of England were driven out by waves of invaders, Angles, Saxons, Vikings, Romans, Normans etc and these blended into the English people, while the original inhabitants were driven into Wales etc.

But a while ago I read a very interesting article on the English language and he sort of proved that this mass invasion was a myth.

It was really just a few raiding parties and small armies that overtook various areas etc and they inter-married and their language became merged in with the original Britons of Bodeacia.

I tend to believe this new theory.
It makes sense as it explains why the welsh still speak welsh and the irish still speak irish.

Its well worth a watch.

And I though they used a mobile phone!

Even my Nikon digital would have been struggling.

The statistics are amazing

I am setting up a new thread just to make sure you all see it.
