1352010	2013-08-25 01:26:00	My Wife has a Toshiba Satellite running Win 7 fully updated. She complains that it runs sluggishly and locks some times for a short period. Can some kind person browse the following HiJack log, it seems to have an awful lot of luggage in it. What can be deleted safely please ? Did someone have probs installing the service pack?? 1352013	2013-08-26 05:21:00	Yep, manufacturers fill new lappies up with uneeded crapware, Its not just Toshiba guilty of that. :badpc: Other things to check How much RAM ? Whats the CPU in it ?? Some laptops/netbooks just are slow. Overheating ? Is the CPU stuck in power save mode ? Ive seen many a lappy running at 1/3 CPU speed , CPU being stuck in power save Set the Windows updates to notify only: you choose when to download & install as that can cause real slowdowns on some machines What antivirus is on the PC?? any ?? Check the AV is trying to do a scan while she's trying to use it. "locks some times for a short period" It could also be a failing hard drive, that can cause slow downs , but sometimes the only way to check is to swap it out (not much help to you unfortunately)	1101 (13337)
