199507 2003-12-11 11:59:00 Well, I had left the thread, but you force me to reply - if only to give credit to Me Auld School & its education (Should really be Off Topic)

Otago Girls High School not only attempted to teach me Latin & French but the English teachers were pretty nifty, too .
I don't know which of them I learned the word from . All I'll say is it was "quite some time" ago . . . . and just one of those words I've always known .

My congrats for noticing & making the effort to look it up . An enquiring mind is always a delight, whether it's computer language or another kind which poses questions .

Perhaps you are also a teacher? Or perhaps you should be .
