| 199460 | 2003-12-11 06:36:00 | Check that the card is seated into the slot properly, if its PCI, rather than AGP, try it in a diferent slot and/or try it in another computer. Did you use the cable from your son's monitor as well to eliminate a faulty cable? While your under the hood check that the ram is seated ok as well. Use anti-static precautions for all of the above. usuall if the video card or ram is didgy you will get a POST error beep. So maybe, try, reset your BIOS defaults. Cheers Murray P |
