I recently tidied up my computer and reloaded everything and all is running well except when I go to my games folder an try to open the EP folder I get that lovely message, 'you have performed an illegal operation etc.' and the 'details' are below. Could you help me get round this contretemps please.
My system is Win 98SE
AMD Athlon XP 1600+
512 MB RAM

199403 2003-12-11 05:08:00 A quick google turns up two common outcomes:

1. You have a virus and need to scan and remove it (http://www.housecall.antivirus.com)

2. Re-installing windows will fix the corrupt file if (1.) doesnt work.

Give them both a try and see if that helps

199404 2003-12-11 05:15:00 Why not try System File Checker first? Try Run: sfc This gives you the oportunity to check your windows files in a really cool way. You may have to instal it from your disk if it is not on your computer, but it should be if you have done a standard instal.
