Unfortunately, this is a Chinese site with lots and lots of flash video clips. You may be able to figure out even if you don't read Chinese.

199836 2003-12-14 22:38:00 By the way, what are the differences between Mozilla and Mozilla Firebird? Any spy ware in them? Are they better than IE? bk T (215)

There have been lots of posts/threads on this subject recently which you would find if you did a search on the forum for "Firebird" .

Basically Firebird is a cut down version of Mozilla, it doesn't have an email client and some other extra features .

No .

> Are they better than IE?
In the opinion of those that use them, a resounding YES . A few reasons why: they have tabbed browsing, they are not vulnerable to security threats like IE because they don't support activex and best of all they are faster . ;-)

Yep, sure is. Give Firebird a whirl. ;-)

Don't let that stop you. You'll soon get used to Firebird (or Mozilla) and will wonder why you didn't try it long ago. No need to think about getting rid of IE either as you'll still need it for Windows updates. ;-)

199839 2003-12-15 03:01:00 bk T, had a look at your site. There is no problems with getting these Flash files. (animated music Chinese music)

Some are rather large and take a while to down load. Also they (the Flash movies) do not need to access the internet when down loaded.

I think the time it gets frustrating with these is when you down load a Flash interface that wants to access an on-line database.

Maybe you can look at whether you have "show all system files & folders" switched on.

Any way they are there and can be saved without a problem.

I could access those downloaded files but not after shutting down the computer and restarting it. Probably it is still in the memory - the saved file is still in the Temporary Internet files folder.

After re-started the computer, I have to access the Internet to view those files.
