| 199892 | 2003-12-12 23:40:00 | I got a copy off a friend...noo not a illegal one but a perfectly legal Office 2003 in a box unopened, he got one but his dad got one too so he gave me his copy.... anyway, i installed it quite a while ago but havent actually noticed something weird occuring when i receive/send, and when i do receive and send, it has 4 lines, 2 saying receiving and 2 saying sending and then they go "completed" after time depending if i am actually receiving or sending but sometimes i am not reciving or sending anything but it still says "receiving and sending" then completed... so whats it actually reciving or sending if i get nothing at all? |

If you don't receive or send anything, that's irrelevant, as it doesn't know you're not going to receive anything until its finished looking for new mail. If you're not hitting the "Send/Receive" button, it could have been set up to auto send/receive when you load Outlook, or perhaps every 5 minutes or so. Mike. |
