| 200434 | 2003-12-17 11:58:00 | I can play a full screen divx in full screen fine on a Pentium 200mhz :O. Just takes a while to load the thing up thats all. Has a 16mb TNT2 in it though. Can't notice any jerkiness. Just make sure it has something reasonable for a vid card and a fair lot of ram because playing divxs uses a lot of it. In short the only way you aregoing to know if a 550mhz will work, is to test it. |

| 200435 | 2003-12-17 12:31:00 | Are you sure its a DivX file (eg, you've played more than 1 file..) coz that seems pretty good..! I know I have a P2 300Mhz at work that I've setup running Vector Linux 4, but on a 200Mhz.. Man, that's pretty good :D I s'pose then you could say a 550Mhz would suffice... Provided you set it up right :-) |
